Location. Tamarindo Diri� Beach and Golf Resort is a vast beachfront property located adjacent to the crystalline waters of Tamarindo Bay in Costa Rica. This secluded area offers backcountry adventure tours, catamaran and kayaking excursions, and water sport escapades.
Hotel Features. On site dining options include the reef , ocean , and garden view Diri� restaurant that offers buffet breakfasts and � la carte dinners. Matapalo is a casual beachfront restaurant while Wetbar serves poolside tropical drinks. Nari Trattoria is a European style coffee shop that prepares tapas. A business center offers wired high speed Internet access, and wireless Internet access is available in public areas. Recreation includes a PGA golf facility with eight practice greens, 15 teeing areas and a nine hole putting green. Golf lessons are available at the nearby Steve Parlee Golf Academy. The resort features an outdoor pool, positioned within 45 meters of the beach, and another freeform outdoor pool. A separate outdoor pool is designed for children. This property also offers a casino, sport fishing, snorkeling, surfing, tennis and concierge suggested tours.
Guestrooms. The three story Tamarindo Diri� Beach and Golf Resort offers 157 air conditioned guestrooms that extend onto balconies with ocean, pool or garden views. Poppy red walls and tropical fabrics accent tile floors. Room amenities include cable television. Accommodations include minibars.
Expert Tip. This resort offers tours to important Leatherback Turtle nesting sites, which are documented annually by National Geographic magazine. Tours begin in the lobby between the months of November and February.
