The Rantasipi Aulanko consists of a large cluster of buildings designed in a modern style and located by the picturesque Lake Vanajavesi in the Aulanko nature park, five kilometres from Haemeenlinna. The 246 guestrooms have views of the lake or the golf course, and feature simple decor in neutral colours with wood laminate floors and art prints depicting the region. All include air conditioning, satellite television, wireless Internet access, hair dryers and minibars.
Guests can start the day with a traditional Scandinavian buffet breakfast served in the light modern restaurant, with its large windows. Lunch and dinner are also available and there is a bar and lounge for drinks. The hotel's fitness facilities include an indoor swimming pool, two saunas, a relaxation room and a private sauna, and children can enjoy the play room.
