Location. The Grand Hotel is located in the French town of Mont Dore, three kilometres from the Mont Dore ski station and 30 kilometres from the city of Clermont Ferrand.
Hotel Features. Built in the 19th century in traditional French style, this hotel is laid out over five floors and set in landscaped gardens. There is a light therapy room equipped with a massage chair and a continental breakfast is available each morning (surcharge). The public areas feature complimentary Internet access and there is secure parking. A shuttle service to the Mont Dore ski Station is provided in winter.
Excellent skiing is available at the Mon Dore ski area in winter and hiking is popular in this scenic area in summer.
Guestrooms. The 178 guestrooms have strong, dark colours and traditionally French furnishings. All have balconies, satellite television and telephones and the private bathrooms come with televisions and telephones.
