Ermis Suites is a modern property consisting of two floor holiday apartments, set on the sandy beach of Platanias. The 18 apartments are brightly decorated with simple furnishings, and all offer verandas, Internet access (surcharge), televisions and telephones. Kitchens have refrigerators, and coffee and tea making facilities.
Guests can start the day with the hotel's breakfast services, swim in the sea and relax on the private beach, and ask staff at the 24 hour front desk for advice on sightseeing trips, and local shops and restaurants. There is Internet access in public areas (surcharge), and also free parking within the grounds of the hotel. The hotel is in an excellent position to explore the surrounding area; the main area of Chania is 10 kilometres away, while further afield the Arkadi Monastery, beautiful Lake Kournas and the Argiroupoli Fountains are all within 42 kilometres. Chania International Airport is 15 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 25 minutes.

There is a bus from the airport, which runs to Chania bus station, 10 kilometres (six miles) from the hotel. Guests can take a taxi; typical fare costs 25 EUR. Chania is best explored by car or on foot.
