Location. The Blue Moon Hotel is located in Miami Beach, Fla., one block from the beach on Collins Avenue. The boutique hotel is two blocks from the Art Deco District and less than one mile from South Beach and Miami Beach. The Miami Beach Convention Center is one mile from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Painted a pristine white and showcasing blue and white striped awnings, the Blue Moon Hotel presents a tropical fa�ade. Built in 1939, this historic property is comprised of two former hotels. The separate buildings are adjoined by a walkway. The main building offers Mediterranean d�cor, including arched doorways and terrazzo tile. A public sitting area sports rattan furniture and colorful rugs. The hotel features an outdoor courtyard and splash pool. Discounted access to a nearby health club is available. At the Blue Moon Restaurant, continental breakfast is served each morning for a fee.
Guestrooms. With bright yellow walls and island themed artwork, the 75 guestrooms at the Blue Moon Hotel promote a beach theme. White wood furniture embellishes each room. Rooms include mini fridges. CD players and cable television are provided. Bathrooms offer bathrobes and complimentary Bath & Body Works toiletries.
Expert Tip. Each evening on the hotel terrace, the Blue Moon Hotel offers a reception with complimentary snacks and beverages in front of an ornate fountain.
