Location. Inspired by Greek revival architecture, the Atlanta Marietta Resort & Conference Center in historic Marietta, Ga., is located two miles from White Water. Six Flags Over Georgia is 18 miles from the resort.
Hotel Features. With mahogany pillars, sparkling crystal chandeliers and privately commissioned wall murals, the Atlanta Marietta Resort & Conference Center has established itself as an environment of sophistication. Hamilton's Restaurant, a 350 seat dining room overlooking the golf course and the mountains, also offers two private salons and veranda dining. For lighter fare, the Pub serves lunch, supper and late night snacks in a casual atmosphere that features billiard tables and leather sofas. Event planning and a business center are available, along with banquet facilities and wireless Internet access throughout the hotel. Meetings can be accommodated in the hotel's 17 conference rooms and two boardrooms, all outfitted with ergonomic chairs. The resort sits on 132 acres of beautifully manicured lawns and gardens and showcases an 18 hole championship golf course. Guests are encouraged to participate in clinics or private golf lessons with teaching professionals on staff. An outdoor seasonal pool, health club, spa tub and sauna are additional recreational amenities.
Guestrooms. The 199 stylish, business friendly guestrooms feature rich gold, red and green accents and traditional mahogany furnishings. Executive desks, computers with Internet access, morning newspapers and complimentary coffee are available. Minibars, custom armoires and terrycloth bathrobes are also available.
Expert Tip. An ideal location for intimate dinners or wedding receptions, Brumby Hall & Gardens is a Greek Revival House located on the hotel grounds. Built in 1851, Brumby Hall features a solarium, topiary gardens and antique and period furniture.
